Picked up this book with no prior knowledge of this book existing and thank god i did The book is good it might not be for everyone it's pretty gory and doesn't mention a lot about how the war began and historical significance is lacking like it wont explain much about politics but it really shows you the feelings of fighting for a cause bigger than yours and it's evident that the author was aware of this it gives of a Vietnam war of hopelessness and is shown even the officers are a danger good book
