Bill Haynie

It started out a little slow, but became a bit of a classic noir/ fatalistic humor story. The evil protagonists die one by one just as they deserve, but the elusive, obsessive chase for the gold throughout the movie gets the greedy gold chasers aggressively killed. The final scene where the German Army deserter and hero of the film finds his little daughter, is the final and entire message. Love for one's family and child is worth more than gold.

Just plain bad and boring. Except for the Vulcan woman first officer. Other than that, poor characters, a lack of characters, and no development of the characters that they have. Boring story lines, boring script..... Yawn.....

Pure non-stop action. Great characters, uniforms and gear are right on. Plot is intriguing. It also makes you think. Especially if you are a veteran.
