DJ Mammo

Intentionally silly, so may not be for everyone. Grew up in the same town and same era as JS, so I really liked the Tom Carvel and other NY references. There were some good gags and great cameos. I was however a little taken aback by the nearly distasteful recreation of 1/6 which included a character with a last name very close to Pence having to certify something while the building he was in was being attacked. Ruined the movie for me. Oh well.

Ep 1 = 51:30 min of exposition. Plot (so far) feels a little forced. Wanda had a good supporting cast as did WS. I am willing to hang in despite Owen Wilson's being in the cast.

Spoiler Alert Google "Lord of the Flies in Space" and 100+ reviews of this movie will pop up with that phrase as their titles so I'm really not giving anything away. It was still entertaining. Colin Farrell's role is similar to Samuel L. Jackson's role in Deep Blue Sea. I'd like to see someone else take a shot at the initial premise of the story as that is what held my interest. I think it could be good if handled properly.

Good production value but conservative wardrobe diminishes movie’s overall appeal.
