I am a 75-year old "senior" who LOVED this movie. I loved it so much, I have seen it 17 times (so has my son). I believe this was the best movie of 2018 with absolutely perfect casting. I hope that Rami and the movie receive the recognition they deserve this award season. When asked why I have seen the movie so many times, my answer is the same: where else can I see the absolute best band performance EVER, plus feel like I've got a "backstage pass" to delve into the personal lives of this wonderful group of talented misfits? I did not need the dark side to be darker. Like others have said, we know what happened and in this day and time, who needs the sadness of Freddie's death to be the focal point of Queen's story? I consider this a love story - our love of the incredible gift of music that Queen gave us - and the love of the bandmates for each other through thick and thin, PLUS the love story between Freddie and Mary. This was not only a tribute to Freddie Mercury, but a tribute to the entire band - a unique group of four who made music that sounded like none other before or since. The ultimate for me will be attending the Queen concert (with Adam Lambert) in Charlotte, NC, in August. Nothing else is on my bucket list that means as much, except maybe another backstage pass to hug the band members and thank Brian and Roger for ensuring that this movie was made with true love and respect. Thank you all and forgive me for saying so much...but I'm old so please excuse me!
