This movie took way too long to say nothing at all. In his efforts to subvert audience expectation, Tarantino lost the audience. With too many plot lines and a maze of backstories that were unnecessary, the 2 hrs and 15 mins of buildup climaxed with a classic Tarantino action sequence that just felt... tired and uninspired. Brad and Leo shine, but it wasn’t anything we haven’t seen from them before, and (surprisingly) Margo as Sharon Tate takes away from the movie. 2/5 “Don’t cry in front of the Mexicans.”
