Not sure what to expect but found this an absolutely wonderful and moving film. It is quite long and moves at a gentle pace at times but in order to tell the story we found this necessary and it held our attention throughout. A very poignant film. The main actors Gibson and Penn are totally believable and Sean Penn , if he hasn't got one, so deserves an Oscar for his incredible performance. He is so mesmeric in his tragic role and Mel Gibson is at his best. A film that could be overlooked, but please watch.
