This is an insightful book that delves into the turbulent 1970's period of CIA intervention in Jamaica's political affairs. It is quite evident that the author did due diligence in researching the topic. I would encourage anyone with a curious mind to take a read.

This book was a required text for a course I took in African Nationalism. It offers a very detailed description of the events that led to the decolonization of African states. Interestingly, there is an entire section dedicated to women's contribution to the anti-colonial movement which is often times neglected by historians.
