(SPOILERS!!!) I binged this season so quickly. I looked up reviews of this new Resident Evil show and wanted to know other people's opinions on it. As I looked up some reviews, I was shocked because it seemed a lot of people disliked the show a lot, but I genuinely, for the most part, enjoyed this show a lot. Unlike other people's opinions, I thought the characters were good and I thought they had a great storyline. I will admit though, at the beginning of future Jade, was not super interesting and just seemed a bit boring, but in the end, I really enjoyed it. The future story got much more interesting. I honestly did think they did a fantastic job making dislikable characters. What I especially like about this show was the storyline about the past Jade and Billie, the two sisters. They were described as always sticking together forever and always with each other, and I liked that. Whenever the show was focused on the future side of the story, I was really excited for when it would pan back to the two sisters in the past, because I thought it was really interesting and good. I will say I agree on the whole Jade and Billie breaking into the lab and setting off the alarm, and no one ended up being there until way after the alarm went off. I wish there would've been some sort of hidden security guard, or at least have them come sooner than they did. I also didn't like the whole Wesker and Evelyn stuff in the beginning, but then it got much more interesting as the story went on, and I found it then fascinating how there were clones and stuff...its...insane. I personally thought at first before watching this show, I thought it would be bad because I saw a lot of reviews before about other Resident Evil tv stuff, and was nervous to see how this show would unfold and bring to the RE franchise. But to a surprise, it was VERY good. I do think this show did have a lot better potential about some things but other than that, it was an enjoyable show. If season 2 is to come out, I would watch it for sure. Also the future Billie character, I didn't really like how she turned into a bad guy, but I guess it makes the show a bit more interesting...but I think I would've liked Jade and Billie together as sisters in the future more maybe. Apart from everything I said, the monsters were also amazing. I loved the alligator or whatever it was, the spider was even amazing, the tyrant setup for season 2 was interesting, and even the lickers were good. (apart from how they reacted to the gunfire by the soldiers in the middle of the show) I also thought the acting was very good and even though the writing and storylines for each character were amazing...unlike others would say but still! Overall it was a good show. I would probably rate it like a 7 or 8 out of 10 perhaps. I am probably the only person to say a good review out of this but whatever. Also, the references in this show were really good, especially the moment where it showed the whole Jade, Arjun, and another guy helping to press the button by using the old-fashioned key-turning way was so good. What episode I enjoyed a lot was the episode "Home Movies". I liked the idea of the young Jade and Billie sneaking past cameras and stuff to get to their dad's secret lab with the help of Simon too.
