Scenic shots are the only good parts in this film. A short film story has been dragged out for over 2 hours. Majority of the audience in the theatre using their phones while the film is playing indicates how boring it is. You can give this one a miss in the theatre.

In an attempt to modernise Indian epics, adipursh has become some weird concoction of a western superhero film with Indian add-one here and there. Ramayan was a story that has been told for generations, but in an attempt to make it seem like a non-worldly story, this movie is a mess. Why the hell are their skeleton like creatures attacking sita, ram and lakshman at the beginning? What the hell are those creatures and why skeleton creatures?? Why is ravana’s kingdom all black? Not just the kingdom but the city, people, sky, buildings, every single thing has been painted black to make it seem evilish, it’s honestly a childish method to make everything about the villain black. Overall this movie is a mess, maybe would have been better if they didn’t use ramayan as a basis. Prabhas needs to choose better pictures and more rooted ones rather than only trying larger than life characters. He’s probably the only person that could suit this character or any superhero style roles, but with back to back flops, he needs to also do some normal rooted films to maintain his career. Adipursh can be skipped in the theatres, just wait for the OTT release. Or if you’ve got nothing better to do than spend money to be bored and go crazy in the theatres, then you can go watch it!

Amazing. The story was wonderful and extremely well written, chapter 1 was a great movie, but chapter 2 is better than the first. Definitely worthy of watching at the theatres, and if you liked the first movie even a little bit, then don’t miss this film.
