I thought it was well written. Nice balance in the storytelling with a good level of humour. The 2h runtime went by really fast but I got a nice connection with the characters. I already knew I was gonna enjoy the film and was excited to see D&D as a high-budget production, already a huge fan of the game coming in. I was very surprised as how much I enjoyed it. the characters reminded me of the people I've played D&D with and how they would have portray those roles.
