Another feeble and pathetic attempt by white people to rewrite history. The sad thing is they cant change what happened, so they just play with the narrative. A deserter is narrated as the hero and portrayed in a glorified manner whereas the conqueror is shown in a negative light, i mean they tried their best to get away with it; as much as they could without being portrayed biased openly! Might as well have called it the heroic tales of Giustiniani! Its a joke tbh! When you compare it with other ottoman shows and history where characters have depth and gravitas! Acting is mediocre although the historians provide some good info in between. Its a shame to what this show couldve been yet they went for mediocrity and pushing their agenda! Since its a netflix series i wonder how long would it take them to introduce a non binary cis abcsgh+*\- character just because thats fashion and distort history some more 😂
