Saw Terrifier 2 in the theater. It was okay. I found the first movie to be better than this second one. The first one was great because even though it was gorey at the end, it didn't dictate the whole film - it felt more realistic, in the sense, a creepy clown following you around town and being weird, and then killing your friends was just a better story for this kind of creepy clown.
This second one felt gimmicky and over done. While some of the gore and plot was awesome, I found the film dragged on, the plot got more ridiculous, and stared giving cheesey clown movie vibes.
I appreciated the acting of the main female lead in the second one - great actress.
You only go two ways when you get a second addition to a film (I'm aware Terrifier has a prequel of another name) and start making more sequels. Either you out do yourself and make a great film, or you over play everything that made the first one great, making it senseless and boring. Terrifier 2 could have taken it down a notch and it would have been a better film. The gore was fine...just make a movie with a consistent plot that doesn't drag on forever...
