Storylines are slow, characters are unredeemable and unrelatable, soundtrack is annoying and the shaky camera work doesnt make up for poorly executed fight scenes. Not recommended.

A dramatization of the human experience and search for spiritual meaning, SG is the story of a group of Oklahoma detectives, who are closer than family, and the pain that weaves through each of their lives. Grace, the lead character played by Holly Hunter, is a free-spirit whose faith in the ones she loves, eclipses her faith in the eternal I AM. A “last chance” angel is sent to remind her of Gods love and allow her embrace that connection before its too late. Beautifully written, produced and acted. A must see series!

I didn't see the original--but enjoyed this movie during quarantine when I needed to smile-did that job very well!! BrianCranstonhit it out of the park. I love the subdued Kidman performance as well. Kevin Hart brings both heart and levity

The writing and directing of this series will blow your socks off- every episode powerful, sweet, sensitive, heart-breaking and inspiring. With rich and heroic female characters who you will fall in love with and cheer for. Each one so brilliantly developed by both writers and actresses that you wont be able to pick a favorite. Ensemble work at its best- a culmination of all things right in storytelling.

A fun romp for the whole family- the boy-next-door becomes the hero of this mixture of 1960’s B horror, greek hero journey and teen rom-com- An entertaining, no-thinking-necessary apocolyptic good time!

I have been an avid fan of horror for many decades. Most movies these days go for over used scare tricks, unbalanced CG and/or pushing the already too wide boundaries of gore and blood. This work really gets back to ehat put horror on the map- great allegory which comments and enlightens the horrors of the current human condition. Well conceived, written, produced, directed and incredibly acted by a talented ensemble. Truly a milestone of great horror and a must-see for those passionate about real horror.
