First of all, explanations are very clear, and pictures very nice. Book looks great. Section on how to sew and what to take on account is elaborate. But then, there is the project section. Don't buy it for the projects because; garment patterns are not included. This was a disappointment for me. Also do not buy it because it has an overlock section, because your main manual with the machine might give you more options and information how to use it... If you like a good overview of (beginner/ intermediate) techiques, it's great. It also has some table runners, cushion covers etc. That don't need a big pattern. The templates can be taken from the book
