I saw snippets of this show and thought it could be really interesting, then I pushed through and watched it to the end and regretted wasting my time with it. I'm not going to act like it had nothing positive, the animation was engaging sometimes, the voice acting could be pretty good and the fights were fun to watch for the most part, but that's really all the positives. The show is filled with countless inconsistent plot holes and illogical moments. Characters' strengths and abilities change every moment and they make the most stupid decisions to accommodate the plot. The characters are inconsistent with their goals and personalities every time you see them, all being stereotypes of character archetypes and nothing more. The show is so disrespectful to numerous cultures, including Japan's, and has little to no historical or cultural accuracy, being extremely discriminatory to Asian and European culture. Nudity is EVERYWHERE, not as a statement, not for anything meaningful, just to exist and for the writers to feel cool and adult. The whole show demeans both men and women to a degree that's just wild, treating women as manipulative whores and men as spineless monsters. As someone who isn't really political at all, I could feel the show trying to push beliefs down my throat every episode where I just wanted a compelling story about historical and cultural moments, but I got something that managed to insult and demean literally everyone watching the show somehow. Save your time and watch something else, it's disrespectful to even call this an anime or animation.
