first timer seeing indian original content - 1)Pataal Lok - WOW ! great acting and amazing story telling. GOOD JOB ! 2) Based on that, lets see another orignal series - Mirzapur - I am impressed by the orignal content and talent by indian actors. ! bated breath waiting for mirzapur 2.... 3) OK...my expectations are really built up...lets do justice and see the latest offering - Betaal......and my reaction a) ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? the prodcution team has taken a solid foundation zombie theme and converted into a bollywood soap opera scenario with actors doing no justice to the so called "strike force" with plot holes bigger than the gaps between Earth and the Moon...I got fed up in the second episode but still decided to see how badly i would get disappointed going forward...after completing the series I am Happy to declare that my expectation of disappointment has been not only met but exceeded ! My advice to cinemaphile's ...do not waste your time on this searies.

Season 1 and episode 3 running and i am thrilled to put in a mid season review......this is THE binge watching series to look forward to...the acting is classic. Character build up is spot on, story line is gripping, and production values is good. I admit CGI scenes are bit cartoonish but considring the overall quality, this can be over looked. 4/5 rating. Please give it a shot. Really worth your time.
