Worst Anita Blake novel by Laurel K Hamilton yet! I’m a die hard fan but this was not on the level of any of the others. Richards gay and in therapy all of a sudden, the murder from the beginning was forgotten and unresolved and it ended in the weirdest way possible….not even a suspenseful cliffhanger?!? I mean Laurel help us understand. Even if you might be tired of writing for this character or whatever your issues might be right now, your fans deserve better than this. I hate having to write this. It pains me. I bought the book and was so upset I returned it…then went and got it back to reread it, thinking I’d give it another chance and I’m sorry….it’s just not a good book. Please rewrite it or finish it quickly because this was painful to read. Absolutely dreadful. Also please include Olaf….that story is left hanging too. Also where was Micah through this whole book? Sigh…..just sigh.
