A Must Watch.

Went into it expecting nothing, expecting less than nothing. I thought it would be another terrible, cringey and chock full of historical accuracies period movie. I was pleased and surprised that I ended up loving this movie. Its def not always historically accurate, but thats clearly not the point, and where it deviates from accuracy, it does so with purpose. Its much more about a spirit of the times, and portraying centuries old societies as real living people. Plot was also decent, and the love subplot was bearable. Though, I have to say, it does still fail the Bechdel test. There are good female characters, my fav being the blacksmith, but they don't talk to each other much, and the two that do its always about the main male protag or another male character that I like to call sir douche. sooo, there thats. Still highly reccomend tho. A fun watch.
