At first I thought this was a good modern take on an old tale. Good music, humor, positive support for following your dreams, enlightenment on family dynamics. But I was very disappointed in the ending. What was the take away message? A couple decides to travel the world because they are in love. The woman (Cinderella) is the primary source of income, and her success is dependent upon staying in the good graces of her employer. The man (Prince) has no marketable skills, or even life coping skills because he has been raised in the privilege of royalty. The chances of living happily ever after don't sound that good to me.
