Going in I was hopeful. Galadriel was awesome, the story started out with a all the keys on point. But my goodness the armour of the numenorians looked cheap and dodgy. They could have done a better with the storyboard it felt slow and dreary. It took ages for action sequence to actually begin and when it did it was tepid at best. Could be better

Honest review. Growing up as a kid I loved the little mermaid so much for one main thing. Thelonious Ignacious Crustaceous Sebastian!!!! Yes that is his full name. His song under the sea is iconic and was one of the main reasons I took up swimming. I know he is a side character but this movie just wasn't the same... yes I understand it's a new fresh take but some things are just so classic remaking it just breaks its magic. Disney prides itself in the magic of its animation and story telling. I went in with an open mind. I didn't mind halle bailey... but the magic of these classics are all but stripped away and I am sorry for those who know and love the classics. I'm sure they would probably say the same. If it's not baroque don't fix it. If you know where that line came from you're a true Disney fan and will probably have the same experience. Very disappointing 😞
