I really like the show. He's easy on the eyes and the show is comforting in the old fashioned 80's kind of way. Its easy, no brains required, just watch. There are a few quirks that are superbly annoying - Reenie for one and a couple of episodes I didn't like the theme. The women are 80's caritures not characters, predictable and fawning. Vapid and irritating. Reeniie especially walking around with a giant purse on her arm like she's a reality tv housewife, not a professional. [btw -that pose does not denote power - it denotes, i'm rich and spoiled an not ready for anywork its mistakenly adopted by the shallow reality tv-ites, who have no brain for history or context.] Season 1 had more of a wanderer's theme, which I really like. Season 2 is more tv show without that untamed-ness. It loses something. I hope they go back to the wild mode. I like the siblings. Great to see Jensen Ackles and their dynamics, after the WB shows. Light and airy,, the good guys win, the bad guys lose. Very little over the line. As I said, sometimes you just want to relax.

Overall good and entertaining show. Some issues for me - the kitchen sinks are like a train bathroom sink - so small you couldn't wash a pot in it. Where do they wash their cooking items - in the yard or the bathroom? Also the big thick window frames the UK are known and dated from - I would have thought he would have upgraded those to more refined frames. The long hallways aren't always pleasing, but maybe the design has to be restricted. Tiles are sometimes awful and not well done; separations can be seen. The red kitchens need a lobotomy. Hate the wooden counters everywhere. Much more updated, modern, resilient materials available. The furniture I hope is staged, because it all looks like items from the 1980s shows. No one should have them. Why does the budget always go over? Why are there no contingencies? Why are the reno's never within affordable choices? Most tiring are the baffon householders who think they know everything or complain about everything - when they wanted the reno in the first place. Just shut up and get along with it. That generation of 'master/mistress of the house' getting in the way of everything is awfully tiresome. For Dermot's designs, the ideas are wonderful, sometimes I wish he would take them a little further to 'complete' the design effect and look. i.e. The terrace platforms look like you can fall off them if you turn around. The garden stairs are too steep sometimes and could be extended and lowered into wider spaces. Some of the designs like the circle gardens, sky lights, high ceilings are beautiful. Overall enjoying watching the show.

Great story, scenery, some characters. Murky, depressing abysmal pace of stortelling. The pace is miserably slow. Watchable shows are rare so just the hope of something going on is worthwhile. Such an abysmaly anticlimactic ending. Its a one episode show, 4 if you're really generous. Season 1 is abysmal. Season 2 gets better, but some inconsistencies need to be overlooked. I don't know why the show-makers think we like to watch things at the pace of grass growing. Just a tad faster please. It feels like they make two episodes drone on for 10 episodes, just because they have alloted the 10. It feels slow mo. It would be great if like Netflix they would allow playback speedup, then I could watch at 1.75 and get the same pace. To Sherry SG - this is an Acorn show - so noone who likes the sex, fast cars, explosions, Marvel, CGI - is watching this. So don't feel superior. We are comparing to Poirot, Ms Fisher, Midsomer, Chelsea Detective, etc. etc. etc. and the many good shows on Acorn or Brittv.

Some visuals are very nice and imaginative. The concept is fun. I am a sci-fi lover so I can take most anything. My cons: - if I hadn't seen Lena Hedy in other things, I wouldn't know she could act by watching this show. There are parts that follow her around with no relevance. She is unwatchable to me and a sci-fi anomaly - so many fillers - some parts of her face move and others don't. She didn't need them. It looks bizarre. She delivers her lines as though she needs the money that's why she took the role, but is so bored, she can hardly get them out. - Steven James, I'm tired of looking up his nostrils, no kind to me. They run around - and Lena struggles, around these sets like Dr. Who sets with no compelling purpose. His acting is overwhelmed by Lena's bland performance. I had to skip to the end, but really can't torture myself with mediocre characters. The story meanders with no purpose in its telling so much, I just can't be bothered. Nothing to keep my attention. For the good stuff I'll read the book. The breakout is the personal AI for me, the cupola, how amazing to be in such a "space".

Started off like fireworks and was excellent for the first 4 episodes. Great acting, premise, momentum (a little like Sherlock) but moved along. From eps 5 onwards, it deteriorated first slowly, then like a rollercoaster dip, and the final episode was bizzare, without premise, elongated in the wrong places as though they forgot to add them in before. Just went from sublime to the ridiculous. Just ended with a slap to keep the name going in case there's a season 2. The episodes were also long and random like they had to fill 10 eisodes so lets just throw things at the wall and see what sticks. Some parts were poignant still, but the last half was just waiting for a ride to come to a stop and be done with it. Clearly the first half crew know how to make this an excellent show. Otherwise a very, very mediocre show in the last few episodes. @RottenTomatoes - you guys need better eyes. There are tons of reviews that you've gotten wrong more and more in recent years. Not the experts you purport to be. Just causing fake trouble and costing some good shows a lot of money.

I enjoyed the first 9 episodes. It should have ended there. Some of what everyone else has said is true, but I enjoyed the sheanigans within the purview of a murder. There are random characters and ridiculousness but I wasn't really bothered - except its just too much unnecessary lesbian sex, but their bodies were beautiful. Episode 10 should never have been made. It had no reason for being. Sunil is no longer necessary for the pretend love affair with Imogene - just get it over with - either give the character a reason to exist or don't. The other guy is much better hunk. The other super annoying thing - is how dark Eps 7-9 were. I understand its night and power went out but the audience still needs to "see" the show and not guess what happening. Netflix started this idiocy and if others are going to continue it - you go blind by yourself. That and Eps 10 - I won't go to Hulu for a while. There are too many others to be punished like this. There is nothing redeeming about Eps 10. There is no reason to watch it. In fact it left such a bad taste in my sight (mouth) I turned off tv for the day. Waste of expectation. More exciting to go grocery shopping. The producers / writers should be thrown out with the bath water for this one. Don't trust them for season 2. I'm sure there are better ways of wasting time.

Season 1 was gripping, well paced and interesting. All the characters were interesting and it was intelligently played. Five Stars! Season 2 is half moronic. Everyone seems to have tantrums. The same copper runs around everywhere without any help from anyone - like is it just a 1 person team? As much as I like him? The NOC center casually gives instructions like a child spit gum on the sidewalk instead of having any real urgency that terrorists are on the loose. I struggle with the daughter's idiotic behaviour - like an american teenager vapid and self centered, instead of an Israeli teenager - intelligent and alert, ready. I know there are intelligent teenagers everywhere - but only the vapid brats and drunken barfers are shown. Old... Season 2 has flashes of brilliance surrounded by soap opera tantrums and outbursts. So far it loses the plot, the interest, the momentum, most of all any intelligence - I mean smart alertness spy type of intelligence - not CIA type. Why doesn't the mother ever put back the phone battery so she can be located?? The head of Mossad ops has to go for a neighborhood brawl? No local police can be sent? The details just don't make sense. Season 2 - disappointing.

Great premise, abysmal execution. Too long to set up, poorly acted, scenes don't make sens. The actor seriously just wanted to be seen in every scene and hence just rolling around everywhere - making up for childhood when he couldn't roll around? Agron is so pretty but a poor lead and a poor actress for this type of movie. Mark is awful from what I can tell of the movie. It had enough good actors to make it work but never does.
