Great cast and although the show deviates from the original, and also deosn’t seem to be that faithful to Navajo culture, I came to understand that did so to “reclaim” the series and characters and present them from a Native perspective as a Western mystery/thriller. Once I got past the first episode and accepted that, I was hooked. The acting is wonderful and the storytelling is powerful. There are lots of nuances and unspoken layers. I can’t wait for the second season!
