incredibly informative to anybody studying the lives of the Saints. On occasion,the author displays a tad of secular bias,but it's hardly present. Its an excellent source of study. I highly recommend it!

the book written by His Eminence truly shines throughout eras. The writing and commentary will ring true to any discerning young man. Cardinal Manning sees and describes the priesthood in such a powerful way, in a way Iv'e never seen before.
