I loved the themes in the movie, that to love someone is to protect them and that you would go to much length to make sure that happens. Also spoiler alert However it was far too long for the content that it was showing… the film was dragged out and at times I couldn’t understand where the film was going or what the end goal was. I felt like they could have done more to show the power of woman in Marvel, and the characters Cercei and Ikirus were very one dimensional, they lacked depth and I couldn’t understand whether they all believed they were a family or not. In the end Ajack didn’t come back alive nor did Gilgamesh and I couldn’t understand for the life of me why Thena went through phases of what I actually believe to be true sight rather than mad eye. I didn’t understand the fact that there was a bigger robot in the universe which made their lives all meaningless to me… I thought they were supposed to true protectors of earth. Turns out they are just another number just like much of us are on earth… I went with my family and need I say we we’re quite frankly bored on some parts waiting for something exciting to happen. This could have been dramatised a lot better and written a lot better. I would say if you love marvel best to skip this and just read a blurb you’re honestly not missing out.
