In my opinion, BO6 doesn’t feel like a true COD game. To be fair, I’m only interested in the campaign and haven’t played the series since COD: Ghosts, but the immersion just isn’t there. The story feels hastily thrown together, almost like a weak imitation of Control, and the level design is bland and uninspired. The gunplay is as sharp as ever, and taking down enemies is still satisfying, but the overall experience is shallow and the campaign feels like an afterthought. The new hub (or whatever it’s called) that you have to go through just to access the game is also a hassle. I used to be a huge COD fan—the kind who would queue up on release day—but now I’m just relieved it’s on Game Pass so I didn’t have to spend a lot on this disappointing experience.

Fantastic!! I did the New Zealand trick to access it early on Xbox game pass. I didn’t really follow the development of this game, so I didn’t have any wild expectations going in, I’m pleased with the presentation and world so far, the atmosphere is great.. biggest gripe is the annoying American VO which could be from any of 100s of existing games. Considering I didn’t pay $60-70 I suppose I’m more lenient than most, GameSpot seemed to score it poorly because there’s too many white males. Every other reviewer who I respect has been positive and I can see why, it’s an ambitious albeit flawed game, still the best thing to come out this year.

I've had hiatus from FIFA since 2018.. I've been playing since FIFA 95 on the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis. Personally, I have a negative attitude towards how EA have handled the series. However, FIFA 23 seems as good as any previous installment. As a QPR fan, my go to game mode is career, as I can actually get QPR to win something. The people complaining about the game mechanics are just bad losers / suck at FIFA.. There's always going to be someone better than you, it's not the games fault. Try playing the game on higher difficulty settings with 2* teams instead of PSG every match and you might actually get good.
