They did their fans dirty. Not to mention, they falsely advertised in the pre-game trailers just for shock-value alone, which Druckmann himself admits in a video. Gameplay was fun but story was trash. Pacing was awful, game carried a political agenda just for the sake of carrying one, and they stripped a character of his well-established characteristics just to fill their narrative. Story seems to run on shock-value. Last of Us 1 is my favorite game ever but Part 2 was not my cup of tea. I don’t consider it cannon and if you LOVED the first game, maybe just forget Part 2 exists.
