I came into watching this with very low expectations. I wanted to watch the show because it’s hard to keep the host of hundreds of characters and places just in my head. The Amazon adaptation of The Wheel of Time fell short of my low expectations and it’s not even worth watching to aid in the reading of the series. They took a timeless series and rewrote it for a modern 21st century television adaptation. Some reviewers argue that it’s tough to translate a 13 book series as a television show which is true, however they took too many needless liberties that completely change the cast of characters and the show would be unrecognizable set side by side to the book series; pair this with sitcom grade acting and an almost laughable set of costumes and sets (I’m looking at you Loial.) Amazon has done to the Wheel of Time what they did to The Lord of the Rings with The Rings of Power. If you’re on the fence about watching this, I assure you that you’re not missing out if you choose not to.

The boycott of this game makes it even more refreshing of a play through. 6/5 Props to you Square! Never change
