I've been really looking forward to this series as I'm a great fan of the original run which I've watched in it's entirety several times. Put simply, the writing is terrible, mediocre at best. So much filler, plot holes, illogical scenarios, and the characters are very one dimensional. What made the original run so great was the writing. The characters had great arcs (Art, Tim, Rachel, Arlo, Boyd), antagonists were brilliant - Raylan and them always trying to outsmart each other. What we've got here is some Ryan Gosling wannabe, running circles around the law, even though he's driving around with the evidence the whole time. Also, they dropped Gangstagrass's ace opening song for some soap commercial jingle. Couldn't even chose a banger from the city that gave us Motown. It's a shame, I really wanted this to be good. Two stars just for Timothy Olyphants great looks

Bit like bad taxidermy mashed with animatronic mungos. And to be honest, the non 'spy Muppet' footage captures much better shots. Looks like the creation of some publicly funded stoner poshos
