Having a mixed time reviewing this one. Yes it’s a Final Fantasy game but there is no RPG elements in it. Yes you can earn xp but as the story progression is so linear, it doesn’t matter whether you level up or not. The ability points do not matter because the combat is so boring and trivial, even on the action focused game mode (harder combat than the story mode option). Yes the story is enjoyable, the cinematics are fantastic and the graphics are amazing, but if I had known it wasn’t going to be remotely RPG, I wouldn’t have bought this.
