I've been a fan since I was 12, 1974, and watched Funny Girl on a little black and white t.v. We were posted to Lahr Germany and of course no English-speaking movies. To me, she is unequivocally the best of the best in all artistic arenas.
I absolutely loved the first 200 pages but...the book fell into chapter after chapter of this album and that movie and minute detail that is only interesting if one is a director, actor or cinematographer. Parts of those processes were interesting but a little taste of chocolate is mouth watering but a mouth full is suffocating...know what I mean? Me. I appreciated leaving out trash talk of relationships like so many are doing these days to sell .
