Edward Spear

Wonderfully appealing movie which added a gritty, street-wise layer to the original. The cast filled out the storyline which was punctuated by the gentrification of west side New York. The sound, choreography and cinematography can only be experienced at its best on a cinema screen where you can be immersed in the visual color, depth and texture which Steven Spielberg continues to accentuate. The cast showed depth and prowess with an already classic story bringing energy and vibrancy to the tale. Masterful storytelling and all who are involved have elevated the craft to new heights.
