I finished this book last week and just came back from the theatre an hour ago from the movie and I have to say.... I was STUNNED. They perfectly encapsulated the depth of the book. Of course the book is way more graphic with the brutality and they needed dumb-down the gore and visceral violence to be able to pass as a PG-13 movie, but it was just as effective nonetheless! There are only a couple things I would have added to drive home both Snow and Lucy Gray's difference in characters, but I give it a 10/10! Everyone did a fantastic job in their roles and the storytelling was top-notch!
