i got to the directors office behind the painting puzzle, when suddenly i completely phased out of the map. i hadn’t saved since before the pipe puzzle (i had been doing all of it in one sitting and usually don’t remember to save until i’m logging off), so, not wanting to do so much all over again, i tried to save and immediately load again, hoping it would just put me back in the room rather than the void, but it didn’t. now i am stuck falling forever and i didnt have any other saves from even part way through, and when i saved while falling, it automatically over-rode my previous save. i now either have to restart the entire game to get to what i’m assuming is one of the last puzzles (which would be beyond boring), or just give up, which i hate to do because i had been enjoying the escape room until this point. all in all until i phased through the floor, it was great, the puzzles are good, however the hints weren’t helpful most of the time, they don’t usually explain what is supposed to be happening and instead just give a small example (which is nice, but it doesn’t really help much most of the time). i’d appreciate if i could get any support or if anyone else has had this happen before, how can i fix this? i really don’t want to stop right before the end, but i absolutely cannot sit through multiple hours of puzzles that i will half remember.
