Since seeing this film about 18 months ago, evidence seems to increase that BMAA (look up on WIKI) is at least one neurotoxin that contributes to one being afflicted with ALS. Evidence is also growing that L-Serine may well be a factor in retarding further development of ALS or even preventing it. My late sister, who died of ALS in 2003 and who, ironically, was a nurse who cared for ALS patients, would be glad that real progress in being made against this horrible disease. Innovation can come from many places and not so often from the drug companies who must hope that L-Serine is not one of the answers since it is so cheap. Watch the film.
