I’m not going to lie, the concept behind this movie is pretty cool in theory. I like the twist of the main “villian” not being the stereo typical mummy. But, it seems as though the budget for this movie was $2.50 with the cringe acting and poor cgi. I was expecting this to be almost like As Above, So Below but this cannot compare in the slightest. Basic details being missed (archaeologists not wearing gloves with centuries old artifacts?!?!) and simple physics being ignored (that rock would’ve killed poor dude straight off not just crushed a leg) just really turned this into a comedy for me and my husband. Again, the concept is really freaking cool but it just fell extremely short of its potential.
