Silverback Heathen Reyes

What can I say about this film - just that it was a fun. James Gunn has created, what will be, a holiday classic. As an audience member we are missing good holiday films to sit down with the family and watch. There is nothing that is so impactful in this film, that will prohibit you from watching it, without watching the other Guardian films, or Marvel films.

James Gunn has placed a beautiful bow on his trilogy. This film made a full circle to the original film giving all the characters a good finale. This is far from spoilers, the characters have the potential to return, yet their story as a 'family' was told beautifully, and we, as the audience, have a better understanding and appreciation for the Guardians of the Galaxy.

What can I say, this was just a fun movie overall for the whole family or the kid in us that grew up with these characters. They hit this movie on the head with giving us a good story, fun characters, and no deviation from that, that did not need to be added. My wife who did not grow up with these characters, loved it as much as I did. Great job to Universal Studios and their team. We need more of these family friendly movies.

My wife and I just recently watched The Flash movie and to my dismay, it was not what the hype had eluded to. Without giving away spoilers, the special effects were definitely subpar, I've seen better from fan films. The story line was not strong nor consistent. Way too much humor with a film that was dealing with a serious subject for the main character. The portrayal of other cameo characters were either unnecessary or strayed from the characters historical portrayal. Kara was a good character and I hope that her run has not ended with the DCEU. The run time was too long for the playout of the events in the film.
