A brilliant collaboration of the YouTube videos that we have seen over the last 22 years of VIKRAM BATRA or his twin Brother Vishal Batra , has been picturised brilliantly in correspondence to the scenes .. I was a bit dicy as these Bollywood films all of a sudden takes a 360° turn & changes the plot to lovy duby kind .. But like Ms dhoni the untold story , it was confined to its own real limits . Thanks to that . The famous dialogues of VIKRAM BATRA like :- 1. Yea dil mange more 2. Tiranga lehrake aunga ya usi tiranga me lipath k aaunga lekin aunga zaroor 3. ( In correspondence to Pakistan soldier's , taunt of "wo Madhuri Dixit hume de de ma kasam hum sab kuch chor ke chale jaenge ) - madhuri ji toh aapni flim shooting me busy hai ( unlike shown in LOC KARGIL - Madhuri dixit toh abhi busy hai tumhara dafaan k liye mitti jama kar raha hai ) 4. From Madhuri with love . Was appropriately picturised along with fantastic cinematography .... A fitting tribute to indian army at the end disclaimer . Draw back :- 1. despite its an out & out VIKRAM BATRA biopic still , the capture of tololing , rhino horns , and few other significant peaks could have been shown ( p.s - someone those who have lived with the stories over the years will find it as a drawback ) .. 2.The cause behind the Start of the war was also not depicted well... 3. If you know the real life stories of Kargil warriors & veer jawans you know they write letters addressing their families before they go for any mission , that was absolutely out of the movie . Nevertheless its a brilliant 2.5 hours spent on OTT , no complaints what so ever .. I tried to be emotionally stable all through but the last 15 mins will invariably make your nerves go weak . Numerous goosebump moments ( specially when VIKRAM BATRA gives the speech to his battalion before the point 4875 capture ) , specially - " Zinda rahoge toh bhi amar , mar jaogey toh bhi amar ".... Siddharth Malhotra was taken in the movie only due to the physical resemblance with VIKRAM BATRA , but he justified his role .. in some scenes i felt Abhishek bacchan in LOC kargil was few inches ahead of Siddharth .. Other castings were right on the money , so as kiara advani as dimple cheema .... Expected Vishal batra himself , to narrate the story instead of Siddharth Malhotra playing Vishal's character as well Am nobody to rate a film but knowing the real story of the war, reading all possible articles on Google & all interactive videos of sanjay kumar , yogendra singh , naveen nagappa & so on, and being to kargil , I would say ITS A MUST WATCH FOR ALL INDIANS ..
