I wasn't going to put a review but since it looks like 95% of these reviews are exactly the same I figured I should put up a real one. My perspective is coming from a movie watcher; not a Minecraft lover. The movie was great. I do feel it was a bit weird how they just jumped into the story of the "birth" of Minecraft instead of setting us up for it but then I instantly remembered that this is a kids movie so whatever. The graphics were A1 and of course the acting was amazing; Jason Momoa and Jack Black kept me laughing. My only issue with the movie was the ending. My problem is not what they put in; its what they left out. In the movie a villager from Minecraft gets into the real world and Jennifer Coolidge takes a liking to him. They go out on a date but they never show that happens after the date. Even if there wasn't an actual scene for this, pictures of their life together could've been shown before the credits. I feel like this would throw anyone for a loop 10 and older; if you were actually paying attention to the movie.
