I grew up watching Westerns. I love this movie, however, there is one inaccuracy that I noticed. Near the beginning, when the new recruits are marching in, they are singing "You're in the Army, now". This movie was set around 1879. The song wasn't written until 1917. Guess they didn't bother to do their research. Still a great movie.
