Decent news, weather and sports coverage that is delivered succinctly and with not too much personal opinion added in -- after all, the audience can make up its mind as to what social, political and moral principles are being advanced or ignored. Sometimes Global over-extends news items to a second or third day which by then, is no longer news. As with the other major B.C. news networks, there is often a misspelled word on the ticker. Some reporting needs to reflect more accurate terminology. A case in point is describing the condition of people who have been shot or stabbed as being "injured" or suffering "injuries" instead of the ages-old descriptive of being "wounded" or suffering "wounds."
