The show is so bad that it’s good.

Definitely one of the best films of 2025.

The film was pretty good but definitely not the best. I wasn’t a fan of the D-Rex (when will they learn to stop making mutant dinosaurs?!) but the other scenes with dinosaurs were good. The story was entertaining although many parts were unrealistic and not enough people were eaten. Overall, the Jurassic World: Rebirth is fun but it’s nothing special. It was far better than Dominion and Fallen Kingdom though.

I liked it very much. It gets most, if not all, of its historical details right and it's also a good message regarding faith in God.

Star Wars (I refuse to refer to it as “A New Hope”!) is second only to its sequel, the Empire Strikes Back. This film is a wonderful introduction to the franchise that all, young and old, will be able to enjoy. It sets up everything perfectly within the universe and gets you invested in it the likeable characters and intriguing plot. The attention to detail that went into this film is insane. I could go on and on about it but I’d fear spoiling it for everyone so go watch it for yourself!

(Spoilers below. Proceed with caution.) I was hoping The Ring 2 would be better than the original movie. It wasn’t. The first scene is like the opening scene of the first movie yet it doesn’t have the same suspense and feels out of place. The rest of the movie is extremely slow that focuses more on the mom trying to kill, but not kill, her child. Yeah, it doesn’t make very much sense. Apparently that was supposed to defeat the ghost or something BUT IT DIDN’T BECAUSE THE MOM JUST JOINS THE ANTAGONIST AT THE END ANYWAY. Like what?! Clearly they were trying to bait another sequel out of movie but they should just let the story end honestly; it gets worse the more it goes on.

The Ring is one of the most unsatisfying horror movies out there. Only the first scene is even remotely scary and the rest of the movie is just a slow burn that leaves you with more questions than answers. And then when you finally think the story has concluded, the work of all the main characters just gets undone to clearly bait a sequel out of the story. The only positive aspect of this movie is that it is better than its sequel, The Ring 2 — which is not a high bar to pass at all.

Do not let this movie be your introduction to D&D. Or anyone else’s if you’re planning to get them interested in D&D. The main characters are unbelievably annnoying and almost had me rooting for the antagonists. I say almost because the bad guys were not only equally unlikeable but also incredibly stupid. And let’s not forget the egregiously terrible outfits that some of characters had. The film does a bad job at stringing the plot together. The storyline doesn’t add up and events just happen for the sake of moving the plot together. The only reason why the protagonists are able to survive is because their enemies are so naive that even a five year old could see past their mistakes. Yet the movie still tries to present them as formidable. Now, some movies are so bad they are funny; Dungeons & Dragons is not one of them. This movie drags on for so long that you start to count down the runtime left to the finish. Overall, pretty bad movie. I would have mentioned the poor animation and graphics as well but, seeing as this came out in 2000, I decided to give them a pass. However, even if the graphics were amazing the story still would have sucked. If you would like a better introduction to the world of D&D, watch the 2023 film instead or play the real game. Just avoid this one please.

3.3 stars?! Y’all are sleeping on this movie. Is Captain America: Brave New World the best movie out there? Of course not. But I still think it is an excellent film. The story is intriguing enough to keep you on edge and vested in the movie. All of the characters were likeable, I specifically really liked President Ross. The graphics of the movie were also really well designed. Overall, I’d rate the movie upwards of 4.5 stars. I’d definitely recommend watching it; it’s a much needed break from all the slop that has been introduced to cinema lately.
