Season 3 begins with typical Gen Z relationships, but as a viewer, I feel it missed the mark in some key areas. While the characters are amazing individually, their dynamics together didn’t feel as impactful. The focus seems to have shifted more towards intimacy rather than addressing deeper themes like mental health and emotional struggles, which are so relevant, especially in long-distance relationships. I was hoping to see a more positive and uplifting portrayal of long-distance relationships, showing how they can thrive despite the challenges. Instead, the storyline leans heavily on the conflicts, making it seem like such relationships can’t work. Additionally, the Rishi and Dimple storyline has run its course. As a viewer, we’re done with it! Let them remain good friends and move on to partners who genuinely understand them. That would feel more refreshing and realistic. Instead of leaning on Gen Z love tropes, why not explore something more old-school? For example, the “flowers” concept in the series was beautiful and could add charm if developed further. On the bright side, the tech storyline is fantastic! It’s creative, engaging, and one of the highlights of the season. For future seasons, I’d love to see more balance in storytelling, perhaps taking inspiration from K-dramas, which blend realism, emotion, and creativity so beautifully. Overall, I appreciate the effort and creativity that went into the season, but I hope the next one brings more relatable, uplifting narratives while continuing to shine with its innovative ideas.
