This is a very intense situation that doesn't hit on the real affects of this kind of trauma. This man (Dan) appears to blame a trauma surgeon for what happened to his son. He makes this person (Jon) feel as though he did'nt do all that was medically possible for his son. He doesn't seem to want justice for his son, or try to find something that would be good in the name of his son. He is just not blaming those that are really responsible for it. And he also blaming his job and anyone whose not interested in helping him. For whatever reason.
It's all about how he feels and not so much those around him.
