First of all, great job to the actors. The special effects are better. However, I feel like the story was all over the place. First, Superman started falling out of nowhere, then Krypto comes along (he's cute by the way). The helm looks better because it's upgraded and there are robots/droids now. Second, the character of Lois is somewhat arrogant now. Is it because she's dating Superman? I don't know what changed, but it felt off. Third, Superman's character was now confused, unsure of what to do and Lois' character isn't helping Superman. He's character was lacking of something. I can't quite put my finger on it. Fourth, when did Superman started making decisions about attacking another country without US or Lois knowing about it? Fifth, how did Lex made a clone? How did he get a DNA from Superman? Who could have interpreted and confirmed the authenticity of the language based on the video of Kal El's parents that Superman was sent to rule over earth and every body just believed Lex? Sixth, how did Lex and the Engineer got together and became allies? Seventh, where did the other aliens come from (the ones attacking the city). Eight, I like that they are introducing new characters right away, but it was confusing on how they appeared. Green Lanterns hair was ridiculous. And when did his character became arrogant? Ninth, Superman's character appeared week, it's like he was not the main character of the movie because of the other super heroes. Tenth, Perry White's character didnt show like he was the editor in chief. It's missing the tough looking but fair side. Eleventh, where was Supergirl? Why did she show up only at the end of the movie and where did she get Krypto? I mean Supergirl could have helped Superman instead of the other superheroes. I get Mr. Terrific why he's there but not the Hawkgirl even Green Lantern. I have a lot more to say but, overall, it was a good movie but, I expected more. The director/writer was trying to showcase all characters right away, when it could only just have been about Superman. Then do a sequel instead. I'd say the previous Superman movies were still the best: Superman 1-4; Man of Steel; Batman vs Superman; Justice League, and even Superman Returns, to name a few. Anyway, still, congratulations to the entire cast and crew, director/writer of Superman (2025).
