4.6/5 The franchise could’ve and in my eyes should’ve closed on the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Animation could’ve been better and the beginning of the movie could’ve taken its time to introduce the events that occurred. Overall, good ending, good storyline, and did not ruin the franchise in my eyes and was not a victim to the 3rd film curse.

This movie was only a little entertaining for me. It completely denies the true message of the original movie which was about the struggles of native Americans and American colonization. In the original, Spirit (the horse) represented how their culture and spirit could never truly be broken or stolen. But in this horrible spin off it’s just about girl meets horse, become friends and save some other horses. Not to mention the animation is blocky and stiff and you can even see that the voice lines aren’t aligned with the animation of the characters lips. The story doesn’t even align with the original at all or and doesn’t mention if it’s before or after Spirit meets Little Creek. Spirits mother is gone, Rain is completely missing, it’s seems like they just created an entirely new series. And the title with “Spirit: Untamed” then he gets tamed by a 12 year old girl. ;-; I would much rather watch the original than this movie
