A classic depiction of our forgotten culture of valour and honour. If you are for the monarch and his ways, this movie is for you. If you are for horror, deceit and greed, this movie is for you. The scene where the Rana is "murdered" from behind generates anger against the oppressor. True, it is a film intended to be dramatic. Some dialogues are outstanding. The director stopped at the right frame, leaving some imagination for the viewer. The film does do justice to the history lessons I learnt at school.
