Everyone should see this film!! I mean, talk about making you think. It made me feel great about the choice I made a year ago to cut back on social media. I've never been really big on it anyway, being that I'm 47 and could care less who has a new car, cooks nachos or is on a cruise. I have 3 teenagers (19, 15, 14) who, of course, dont feel the same way. I often invite my children on vacations and they never want to go. They feel they'll miss something in the neighborhood or locally online. So... I force them to go! We go to other cities and I rent them scooters to ride at night, I make them join us at museums and amusement rides. I force them to be active, so they have no time to look at their phones, other than to check for "meet back up" alarms. They seem to enjoy themselves. But when we return home.... it's back to Snap and Insta. How can I come up with REASONABLE ways to have them cut back on their online time? I have challenged them to make a short film about teens being addicted to S/M. Their target? Kids on social media🤦🏽♀️
