I had high expectations before going to see the movie. Perhaps too high? The story did not flow for me. It felt off. I have seen the original Dune multiple times. Seen the series. I have also have read the books in the series. The original movie had a lot of "oomph" in the ending. This felt flat. Also changing whole Frank Herbert's original plot... might have worked if something wasn't missing. I can't put my finger on it. Was it the lead lacking personality? Plot? Not sure. Left the theater feeling disappointed.

I think this by far one of the best movies done by Silambarasan. This movie one can keep and watch again.

It was an entertaining movie. Funny and at times interesting. The humour was done well. However certain scenes were predictable including the ending. On the whole a movie I would watch once but not repeat again.
