I have read ALOT of books on the Grateful Dead and probably know too much about the band, its members and its history...
I found this book an excellent read with a lot of information I did not know before.
It is written from the point of view of the sound and road crew and how the bands and its sound evolved up to the Wall of Sound.
I never really thought about what went into the bands sound or sound system and was amazed about how complicated the evolution of it was.
I would highly recommend this book to any serious Dead Head.
