Indigo Milkcap

Honestly the movie was alright (I think those were my exact words leaving the theatre back when I saw it) but "trip a little light fantastic" was such a terrible song it actually made me enjoy it less. I don't know why. I just really did not enjoy that song. And they brought it back near the end! It wasn't a terrible movie, just didn't wow me, and most of the music was decent but truly the one song was awful.

Got about 25 minutes in and left. I knew what was going to happen and I've never seen star wars. Very predictable and tried very hard to be shocking/interesting but it obviously being Walmart star wars just made me uncomfortable. Got to the SA scene and it made me want to rip my fingernails out of the nail bed just so I'd have an excuse to get out of there (not an exaggeration). Lazy writing to fill some of the 2 hrs and 14 min this movie will suck from your soul, if you let it. Then I remembered I could just get up and walk out. I guess it just wasn't for me.

Not to be critical but I watched about 20 minutes of Just for Laughs: Gags and I have to say that I have never felt less joy and urge to laugh in my entire life. The only reason I watched so long was because I was so dumbfounded by how funny they assumed I would find it. Also I was across the room from the remote and that's a walk. I had rock bottom expectations, and even then they managed to disappoint me somehow. I soon switched over to the news and was more interested.
